Dr. Jaimie Shores, M.D., FACS

Dr. Shores specializes in surgery of the hand and upper extremity, peripheral nerve surgery, reconstructive microsurgery and general reconstructive surgery. He is a board-certified Plastic Surgeon who performed a dedicated Hand/Upper Extremity Surgery Fellowship and earned a Subspecialty Certificate in Surgery of the Hand.

Dr. Shores served as a full-time faculty member for the Departments of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Orthopedic Surgery at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 2011-2024. Additionally, he was the Clinical Director of the Hand and Upper Extremity Transplantation Program and the Director of the Hand Surgery Fellowship Program. In addition to caring for patients, he has also led multi-center clinical trials for the treatment of nerve injuries and participated in basic science peripheral nerve and transplant related laboratory research.

Dr. Shores consults for the hand surgery and peripheral nerve surgery industries and has been involved in basic science and clinical research related to these fields.

In his free time, Dr. Shores enjoys spending time with his wife Darla. They spend their time working in their yard and enjoying nature.

Clinic Coordinator, Medical Assistant

Heather brings to the team nearly 20 years of experience throughout the healthcare industry. She has spent 4 of those years at The Orthopedic Center of St. Louis. Her hard-working and committed spirit brings with it an exceptional approach to patient care and experience. Her favorite days are spent with her husband, Steve, and her two children, Makynzi and Joe. They love spending weekends at their cabin and adventuring on their side-by-side.

Reaghan is a dedicated Medical Assistant to Dr. Shores. She brings a strong work ethic, compassion, and genuine commitment to patient care. Outside the clinic, she enjoys cooking, playing board games, and making memories with her husband, Josh, and their five cats.
